Valentino Sequined Satchel a Fashion Mistake?

I actually like small bags with drawstrings as they look perfectly stylish nowadays, but of course it is not that all the brand names have to come up with some kind of idea of a bag with drawstrings, attached here or there. You have to admit that some even trendy detail doesn’t have to appear in every designer’s invention. It is absolutely ridiculous to attach something to a bag when it doesn’t even go well together. You can see how it happened with the Valentino Sequined Satchel – entire lack of taste.

I used to completely trust the Valentino team’s vast experience and elegance. Now, with this particular bag, I’d reduce my trust to 99 per cent out of 100, still I think it was just a sort of misunderstanding rather than trend. The weird mixture of spangled pannel and the drawstring makes really funny and flat look.

The only detail that I’d forgive Valentino for is the sequined pannel which is in fact quite attractive with its rose-like pattern. The delicate outline gives the bag a touch of deluxe feeling; with its sharp concentration on detail you can identify the famous brand’s ideas and recollect its best bags. If they only quitted those drawstrings and left just the pannel sided with some common gussets, it’d probably become a good seller.

I also cannot avoid those strange end elements. I still cannot figure it out why they have to be this big and plus, those absolutely needless there drawstrings oddly drug them in at the top, and that’s why the bag’s form look weird and flat.
