I love when new catalogues come out. Thanks to eLuxury, our favorite advertising partners, there are a new set of bags for all of us to gawk over. I can’t help but love the preppy and stylish look of someone wearing matching shoes with their bag. I don’t find it overpowering at all, rather perfectly fitting. For today, Tod’s is going to fill my shoe and bag want and need. Starting off with the super sleek Tod’s Decoupage Shopping Media, you see perfectly lines and color combinations for a fun and powerful look. Designed from woven linen fabric with textured leather trim, this bag shows that contrasting textures and shapes can be harmonious. The front flap pocket is made from green sueded leather and closes with a golden button. The inside of the bag contains a center zip compartment and two open side compartments, along with a zip pocket, and textile lining. There is something so sleek and clean about this Tod’s bag (dimensions: 14.5″ x 7.25″ x 5″). I love the combination of green suede leather with linen. Perfect for spring, especially if you go all out and buy the matching pumps. Buy the bag via eLuxury for $845.

But like I said, today is geared for the shoe and bag combo. You see the bag, now I can’t let you pass up the opportunity to see this super preppy and ultra- chic pump. Did I mention that it matches and compliments the bag perfectly? The Tod’s Coupe Pump shows off a flirty open toe alongside a muted lam with smooth leather trim which is further accented by polished and gold metal studs. For a feminine touch, there are leather ties through two golden grommets along with “Driving sole” rubber dots detail at the back of the heel. Don’t think Tod’s will forget to leave your feet touching anything other than smooth leather lining and insoles! Finishing off this must have pump with 3.25″ stacked wood heel, Tod’s has lured me in quite nicely. Make this elegant pair of pumps a part of your collection through eLuxury for $375.

Fine? Damn fine, to say the least. The New Tod’s Girelli East/West Bag in White Leather is the sexiest plain white bag I’ve seen in a long time. Perhaps only Valextra come close. The gorgeous, Italian made bag goes for 1,200 bucks, which isn’t that bag considering its size and total, undeniable sexiness.

P.S. The Girelli also comes in golden metallic (I’m so over metallic, though) and the funky zebra print. The white is still my undefeated champion.

I’m walking the line with this bag. I am having a very hard time deciding if I like the shape or not. Different, yes, but hot, I’m not sure. The Tod’s Bamboo Black Satin Mini Evening Barrel Bag is a baguette shaped bag made from shiny black satin and generously accented with Swarovski crystal details on the side buckles. Not that I don’t love Swarovski crystal or even black satin, but I just can’t tell if I like how it all comes together on this bag. Other features of the bag include chrome hardware, black fabric lining, and one inside compartment. The bags dimensions are H 2.76″, W 9.45″, and D 2.76″. I think I finally figured out why I am not completely keen on this bag… it reminds me of prom purses. Ha. Anyhow, let me know what you think. The Tods bag is available through Forzieri for $495.

While the Starlight (oh yea, the magical flying horse from Rainbow Bright) was my favorite horse, zebra’s were a close second. I suppose the zebra would actually be my first favorite seeing that Starlight is completely fictional and no matter how much I begged my dad I could never get my own Starlight. So moving on to my other favorite ‘horse’, the zebra, we have the Tod’s Girelli East/West Zebra-Print Pony Bag. I’ve always been a lover of Tod’s and the Girelli model is an alluring shape in my opinion (I have featured it before). Again, let’s all let out a sigh of relief, because this bag is not made of zebra hair, but calf hair (I am actually being quite sarcastic because I sure know that a bad can not be made from zebra/leopard/etc for obvious reasons). Immediately, the shape of this bag draws me in along with the innovative closing technique. To open and close this bag there are polished silver metal magnetic knob closures on each side. There are rolled leather shoulder straps with a 7″ drop or you could opt to use the longer shoulder strap (included!) with a 17.5″ drop. Options are always nice. Open up to find suede lining along with 2 patch pockets and one zip pocket. The dimensions of this black and white striped Tods bag are 16.5″ x 8.5″ x 6.25″. Buy this close cousin of Starlight through eLuxury for $1950.

Yes, I’ve talked about a bag quite similar to this before by Tod’s. But the shape and color of this beauty intrigues me. The Tod’s Carey Grande receives its beauty from the light blue opal textured leather. The tote has double top handles and perfectly comes together with a gathered top with a buckle accessory for closing. Simple elegance at its finest sums up this bag. There is also a signature Tod’s logo charm and an inside pocket with open panels. This bag€™s dimensions are 9″H x 16″W x 4″D which places it in the category of not too big not to small- but just right. Buy it via Neiman Marcus for $1100.
