I would love to buy a gorgeous Chloe, Fendi or Marc Jacobs leather handbag and show it off wherever I went, but unfortunately I’m not made of money so I have to settle for high street designs! My favourite place to buy leather bags is definitely River Island, although they’re not the cheapest bags on the high street they are good quality, last for ages and often look just as nice as designer makes.

I just spotted this fabulous cream leather buckled bag on their website and fell in love with it. What’s even better is that I then found this cute little purse to match (also River Island.) The bag costs 49.99 and the purse 12.99; now that price sounds much nicer than the 1000 plus you would pay for a leather designer bag.

Both accessories are made from leather therefore will be good investments, anyway you’ll get your moneys worth - the bag will go with anything day or night.

Oh no they did not! The House of Fendi is king and queen of hit or miss. Not to mention the fact that many of the ‘hit’ bags are not even liked by all of the handbag lovers out there. So what is this atrocity. Fendi is all about the F’s and the F’s come together to make a fugly handbag. Slight colors of the rainbow, the awful F’s are strewn about as if we want to see them there. So Fendi, your Fendi B. Mix Large Tote is such a non-masterpiece and such a miss that I feel sorry for you. I am sorry that people must walk by your store and see this bag and know that your name is on it. I am sorry that people will laugh and point. I am sorry that people will walk into your store for about 5 seconds then leave after seeing an entire line of fugly bags. Yuck. So is this for you? Tell me no. Between the leather, cheap looking coated linen, and logo’s all over the place, I would definitely rather pass. Especially because this bag is not free, it costs money. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and caramel may tickle your senses if they come from a brand like Godiva or Lindt, but do they combine to make a delectable handbag? The Fendi Multicolor Baby Spy combines this trio of colors, from dark to light on the bag, and blended on the woven handles to make new option in the Spy family. A different look in coloring, but all the same materials and style, the baby Spy has gold hardware, double handles, a wristlet pull tab, and measures 15”W X 9″H X 7″D. Available via Saks for $1280.

I really am attempting to keep my cool when my eyes had the unfortunate encounter of finding this fug bag. Between the shoddy mesh and the over sized gaudy Fendi logo down the front middle, I can feel my fashion sensible eyes burn a little when being faced with the Fendi Mesh Satchel. Is there a reason anyone would want this bag? You may argue that for the beach it will be sufficient, but I assure you this is not the case. Fendi meant for this handbag to be taken seriously, not taken to the beach, and even if you are a Fendi lover I highly doubt you can justify taking this bag anywhere (let alone the beach). So to keep from really making the people behind Fendi from feeling that I do not like them one iota, I will stop this post here. Because I could go on, and it could get ugly. Laugh at the bag, laugh at the price, and laugh at the fool who falls for it.

On the hunt for a totally clean white bag, Fendi has added another option into the mix. The house of Fendi has been riding the enormous Spy wave trying to find the perfect Spy to appease any and every client or possible client. My Fendi Honey Spy was the perfect Spy for me and I have never really seen another Spy that I had to have (ok, take that back, the simple Fendi Blue Spy made my heart skip a beat). What about an ivory Spy, more white than ivory? The Fendi Ivory Spy Bag looks stark white but embodies the stunning Spy shape we all know and love and the woven handles the Spy is notorious for. I want a white bag, but not sure this is the one. Any of you Spy lovers have to have this bag? Buy via Net-A-Porter for $2100.

Yay or nay for the naked Fendi Ivory Spy Bag?

Yet another incarnation of that Fendi B, this Fendi Leopard B bag looks a bit more leprous than leopard to me. The shape of the bag is kind of weird and evocative of a cyclops to begin with, but that doesn’t bother me as much as the hideous execution of leopard print. If this bag actually came from a leopard, it would’ve been a leopard that had spent its life rolling around in a combination of mud and its own ignoble feces. Honestly, why so dark and dirty with the leopard print? Leopard is supposed to be vibrant. Instead, the spots all over the bag look strangely, as I said, leprous and hideous. And then the worst part is that the buckle is also leopard but in a different color! Lighter as if to accentuate the strange diseased poopiness of the rest of the bag, like gleaming scar tissue! This bag is just all wrong in a way that kind of makes my skin crawl. If you want leopard, try a cheerier option, I beg you. If, for whatever reason you cannot resist this mess, the bag is available at net-a-porter for $1,040. Just be careful, as it might infect you.

Either chinchilla or sable, take your pick on this Fendi bag that can be made a special order and limited edition. Many people do not know that Fendi is known for its furs so there is no doubt that the Fendi Selleria Bag in either sable or chinchilla would be divine. It would not be my first choice and it will not be in my price range. For $38,000 I am thinking a BMW rather than a handbag.

I still love getting an Easter basket, even at my age. Luckily I will be home for Easter this year and you better believe I expect a basket. Even better is because of my food allergies, the Easter Bunny brings me designer clothing along with some special candy just for me. Yup! So if my funds were unlimited and I was living a life of extreme luxury, I would ask the Bunny to replace my old wicker basket with the Fendi Zucca Print Palazzo Bucket Bag. Looks like an Easter basket with a Zucca-print canvas. I’m not even big on the logo pattern, but sure, why not. There is gold-tone hardware and studs, a cute spring twister shoulder strap, and a drawstring top. This means that when I am doing my Easter egg hunt I can store the eggs safely with the safe drawstring top. Buy your new Easter basket via Bergdorf Goodman for $1150.

I’m a girl who loves her pinks and purples, but there are times that it is way too over done, especially if it is on a fugly-as-fugly-can-be bag. I have already ragged on this bag before, and now Fendi chose to continue on its fugly journey and create another color combination. It hurts my eyes, and the dude sitting behind me in Starbucks eyes. Blind yourself briefly with the image of the Fendi Canvas Coated Crossword Bag, which is thrown together with purple canvas coated crossing and weaving. Then there is fuchsia pink to trim these ugly woven strips. No thanks on so many levels, including the price tag of $1460 via Browns. Gag.

Don’t blink too fast, because you may miss the next Fendi Spy release. Fendi releases new eclectic Spy bags as often as you had your diaper changed as a toddler. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Honey Fendi Spy, but the rate that Fendi churns out new Spy’s is ridiculous. New to the Spy block, is the Fendi Squirrel Denim Spy Bag which resembles a pair of 80’s acid washed jeans with ornate embroidery and rhinestone accenting. As always, the handles features braided leather, there is a signature hidden coin purse, and a fold-over flap closure. This rock hard Spy is not for me, but may be the Spy of your dreams.
