Straight off the runway comes the Dior Jazzclub Handbag Collection. I don’t love these bags, but they are definitely unique and worth taking a peek at. Made of lambskin and available in black, beige, white, zebra and leopard, the jazzclub collection is recognizable by its unique large logo-engraved toggle closure and slouchy shape. The hardware is polished silver, which is refreshing after a few seasons of gold. Available on eluxury.com for $1,950.

Put a drawstring on anything and it instantly becomes casual. Such is the case with this stitched up Dior bag. Soft brown leather is patterned with tonal stitching and pulled together with a slim drawstring strap threaded through antiqued brass rings. The large “D” charm hanging from one of three key fobs leaves no doubt whose bag you are carrying. The flap closes with a snap and the interior is finished with Dior logo lining, zip, cell and open pockets. The bag measures 8″H x 19″W x 6″D and sells for $1790.

From Dior’s Fall 2007 collection, this bag is so unusual and sports so many interesting details it is hard to know where to look first. Let’s start with the obvious - the woven fuchsia leather. It’s a bold color choice and the elaborate pattern is not your standard basket weave. Moving up to the shoulder straps, your eye is drawn to the graceful serpents perched upon the tortoiseshell frame. As if that weren’t splashy enough, the leather shoulder straps themselves are twisted in an elaborate design and almost look like extensions of the serpents. Showcasing the Dior logo is a miniature Louis XVI picture frame hanging from a leather strap. Inside, you’ll find Dior jacquard lining, a logo tag and a 7 inch zip pocket. With metal feet to protect the base and a pretty snap clasp, this bag is sure to be a must-have for those who can afford the $3900 price tag.

There’s a classic feel about the lovely My Dior Mini Hobo. Constructed of the signature Diorissimo cotton canvas and trimmed with tan and ivory calf leather, this simple bag is great because it promises years of use. You probably can’t say that about most of your glam bags, but this piece managed to be both elegant and versatile at once. The front cargo pocket is a nice utilitarian touch, and the sedate color scheme works well with just about anything. I’m the person who carries her wallet as a clutch many times. So it does matter what my wallet looks like, because it is not hidden in my bag, but out visiting the world. Vlad treated me with a stunning Christian Dior wallet, which still looks like new, but I think it may be time to add another wallet to the collection. Chunky hardware and funky leather straps and rings defines the Chloe Betty Leather Wallet. Chloe leather is known to be ulta-durable and even heavy, but that is perfect for a wallet. Petrol leather, a blue color, makes this wallet chic while the gold and silver hardware is typical Chloe style. You must forgive my brain today, because it truly can not process one ounce of information. Imagine waking up to a jack hammer and chizzle of sorts; well that is my morning here, in the house of renovations. Sure the Ipe wood flooring that is going down looks gorgeous, but this noise for the new entry way is just horrendous and sends chills up and down my spine. Hence I am off to shop in just a bit. How about a beautiful metallic bag? The simple shoulder straps woven through grommets and quilted gold lambskin makes the Dior Metallic Cannage Shoulder Bag very appealing. The Cannage line from Christian Dior has made a big splash and it is easy to see why. There is a signature “d” charm that hangs from the front center flap, an open top, and inside pockets. The gal that John Mayer wants is a down to Earth, small town, fairy-tale sorta gal. Is that Jessica Simpson? Well, the whole MTV reality show, 3 year marriage, chicken-of-the-sea, bleach blond may not fit the description but she is sure trying. From platinum, to a few low-lights, to all over rich brunette, Jessica Simpson is yet again making a transformation in front of our eyes. We are having a hard time deciphering whether or not this is a wig, but I really like the dark tresses on her. Even better, Jess put together a great outfit; black pants, black tank, a black velvet jacket, and of course a black Christian Dior My Dior Medium Handbag. Somehow she does not look goth, rather sexy, and I love this bag on her. The My Dior handbag line is making a splash because of its simple body, frame tops, braid handle detailing, and the cute silver metal top accessory. I dig both the bag and Jess. There has not been a huge amount of talk on Dior handbags around here recently. But the new My Dior line resembles the Dior Detective line which was a major hit. Simple, large, and structured the Dior My Dior Large Pockets Handbag is designed with soft grained leather, features a frame top, sports antiqued silver metal hardware, and measures 17″ x 14″ x 4.5″. While the bag as a whole is simple, there are some added touches including rolled leather handles with braid detailing and two front flap pockets with buckle details. On the inside there is soft leather lining with 3 inner pockets. Is the My Dior line and this handbag a yay or nay for you? Buy it through eLuxury for $1990.

John Galliano toned it down in Paris with the Christian Dior Spring 2007 Collection. While his line was nothing flashy, the simplicity and clean lines worked for me. Sometimes it is nice to look at something that is not too noisy or busy. The Dior Handbags were “gimmick-free chain-handled handbags” that sported the same shape but different materials and colors. Overall, this line makes my life a bit easier and makes it look easy to be fashionable. {via Style}

While the hair styles fit the feel of the collection, I must say that I would not smile if I was wearing this sort of boyish up-do either.
