Today, I spotted the Burberry Patchwork Check Bucket Bag. I consider this handbag to be a bit too exaggerating. Burberry attempted to give the signature checkered pattern a nice twist, but personally, I'’m not really feeling it. I can'’t imagine myself carrying this one bag around town. No offense Burberry, but this patchwork bag looks like a total knockoff! Why the irregular pattern? Isn'’t an uneven pattern a major red flag when distinguishing an authentic Burberry bag over a fake bag? In my preferences, I certainly wouldn'’t buy an authentic Burberry bag containing such an obvious uneven lining.

I will mention that I agree to handbags containing removable accessories. It’’s like a two-for-one! The Patchwork Check Bucket contains a removable cosmetic case, an adjustable shoulder strap, patent leather trim, and measures 13.5″ x 10.5″ x 6.5″.

Here is a nice classic bag that won’t ever go out of style. And at $230, it is a relatively small investment to make in a wardrobe staple. With the classic cream, red and brown large check print and reinforced leather corners, it is crisp and simple and goes with just about anything. With a little silver-tone hardware on the strap and a zip top opening, you just can’t go wrong with this petite bag. Bag measurements: 3 ¾”H x 6 ½”W x 3 ½”D.

I love the berry color, but this studded bag looks like it might be a little painful to carry as a clutch. I suppose that is why it was designed with short strap that allows the bag dangle prettily from your wrist instead of tucked up under your arm. If you like gold-tone buckles, this is the bag for you - there are two on each side, three on the front and one more on the wristlet. That’s a lot of buckles for one bag. $1495.

The sharp contrasts on this Burberry Pewter Manor Handbag are a little too extreme for my tastes. Where have I seen something quite this tacky? Oh, I remember. Lately Burberry’s been doing well. The Manor bag and the sliver check are both winners in my book. This one however is a clunker. The solid canvas hobo has a Burberry crest embroidery with pebbled grain leather trim and strap. The bag comes in stone with white details. If you must, it sells for $470.

Just because you have to carry a diaper bag does not mean it needs to be a) drab, b) overly flowery, or c) flat out ugly. I know many moms do not have time to primp everyday, so their wardrobe is a tad more laid back. For the mom’s who love designer but also are still just trying to make it out the door without rice cereal in their hair and spit-up on their shoulder, the Burberry Denim Diaper Bag reverberates laid-back chic style.
