We’ve featured Burberry Warrior bags before and since they’re always spectacular we now have another one to share, and this time it’s the Mini Warrior. Shown here in bright berry red leather accented with the traditional Burberry check pattern in happy shades of red, blue, and brown, it’s a bag that has a sophisticated but casually upbeat vibe. I love the warrior bag shape but was never crazy about the over-sized metal studs, so I’m happy to see that they’re miniaturized in this design.

Today, I spotted the Burberry Patchwork Check Bucket Bag. I consider this handbag to be a bit too exaggerating. Burberry attempted to give the signature checkered pattern a nice twist, but personally, I”m not really feeling it. I can”t imagine myself carrying this one bag around town. No offense Burberry, but this patchwork bag looks like a total knockoff! Why the irregular pattern? Isn”t an uneven pattern a major red flag when distinguishing an authentic Burberry bag over a fake bag? In my preferences, I certainly wouldn”t buy an authentic Burberry bag containing such an obvious uneven lining.

I will mention that I agree to handbags containing removable accessories. It”s like a two-for-one! The Patchwork Check Bucket contains a removable cosmetic case, an adjustable shoulder strap, patent leather trim, and measures 13.5″ x 10.5″ x 6.5″.

Putting a great spin on their traditional look, Burberry offers up a foolproof bag that’s equal parts glamorous and practical. The Burberry Heather Tote is subtly eyecatching, boasting a sophisticated gold and brown color scheme and soft, mesh leather. This is a smart choice if you love check prints but aren’t into the classic Burberry design; this style is confident and sharp, yet still toned down enough (surprising, given its metallic color) to be appropriate for day wear. Here is a nice classic bag that won’t ever go out of style. And at $230, it is a relatively small investment to make in a wardrobe staple. With the classic cream, red and brown large check print and reinforced leather corners, it is crisp and simple and goes with just about anything. With a little silver-tone hardware on the strap and a zip top opening, you just can’t go wrong with this petite bag. Bag measurements: 3 ¾”H x 6 ½”W x 3 ½”D.

I love the berry color, but this studded bag looks like it might be a little painful to carry as a clutch. I suppose that is why it was designed with short strap that allows the bag dangle prettily from your wrist instead of tucked up under your arm. If you like gold-tone buckles, this is the bag for you – there are two on each side, three on the front and one more on the wristlet. That’s a lot of buckles for one bag. $1495.
