I know it’s only nearing April but I have found the bag of the year so far and what I think will be the ‘it’ bag of the year. It’s the new Prada Printed Buckskin Handbag with fairy tale illustration and it is adorable!

The limited edition number has been a hit already and was only available in a limited number of stores. To make matters worse, along with the scarce amount of bags available you will probably be wait listed before it even comes back in to stock. However if you are lucky enough to get your hands on one, treasure it as it is a one off beauty that will bring great envy from the fashion savvy.

Some more amazing bright coloured clutch purses have come to my attention and this time they are Prada. I have not always caught on to the Prada style, I often follow smaller designers or vintage stores but I am in awe at Prada’s spring/summer collection. Florals and bright colours … perfect!

The clutch in question is the Prada Nappa Clutch with asymmetrical motif and polished steel hardware. Available in five different colours, papaya, peony, violet, black and turquoise the cute clutch is fabulous for summer and ideally it would be great to have all of them in each colour. However at £545 each I guess it will stay a dream for me.

I am obsessed with the fantastic selection of embellished bags from Monsoon/ Accessorize this season! They are so vibrant in an array of different colours and designs to really get you in the mood for summer.

I am always drawn to embellishments and these beautifully embellished bags certainly grasped my attention. Monsoon has definitely provided a bag for every outfit with this range as the multicoloured gems and beads pick up on every colour!

However if you are more of a neutral girl you may prefer this stunning cream satin trim bag, which is one of my favourites! For £40 it’s pretty reasonable, I just can’t wait for the weather to get warmer so I can justify buying one! Check out their site for more fabulous bags!

Another bright and beautiful bag has caught my attention, the Airliner Leather Clutch from Marc by Marc Jacobs. Striking colours not only make a statement they make an outfit.

Clutch bags are the perfect accessory for an evening out, not to big to cause drama through tight spaces in bars and clubs and not to big to small so that you can fit the well needed cell phone, cards and cash, keys, mascara and lippy. This turquoise leather fold over clutch is just the ticket. Paired with a lovely white top and blue skinny jeans would make your look fabulous but that’s just one idea.

This summer it’s all about the bright colours and each week I surf the net to find my summer wear I am inspired. This time I’ve found the Chloé Maya Leather Shoulder Bag.

Wow, an actual designer ‘it’ bag at a more affordable price than the usual £1,000 plus. The bag I’m talking about is the new Jaeger Britannia bag.

The much talked about bag has seen much publicity in the fashion glossies and is available to buy online now. With a patent wet look finish the oversized bag is uber-cool, sleek and stylish. If the patent ‘wet look’ finish available in either black (pictured here) or red is not your preferred choice then get it in white leather also available online costing the same amount or the smaller version in black leather costing £199.

Anya Hindmarch is an accessories designer out of England, who quickly gained popularity worldwide. Her handbag and shoe collections are frequently featured in leading fashion magazines like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, and in both 2006 and 2007 Anya was named Designer of the Year by Glamour magazine. This haute little number is called the Aretha Shoulder Strap Bag. Huge purses make you look thinner and hold all your favorite non essentials, a winning combination….I don’t see them going out of style any time soon.
