Now, I’m normally not one for animal prints at all, but I do like the way this bag is made. The reason why is because it’s not totally animal-printed; and, they’ve broken out of the common, boring leopard/tiger print to pattern this with a black-and-white zebra look, which actually sets off this bag perfectly. In fact, the more I see the sexy zebra print; the more I really like the look. Most women wear black or white, so the bag can go with virtually anything you’ve got to wear. The Furla Lucrezia Leather/Calfhair tote is one roomy bag – which is important for people like me, who have a variety of stuff they have to lug around – and it’s made of both leather and calfhair, which combines two of my favorite media in one awesome bag. I love the chain-link detail and functional padlock, along with the brushed silver-tone hardware and magnetic snap closure (because my purse always comes open somehow). I really like the way that the pocket seems to pop out of the smooth black leather. I’m definitely one for eye-catching bags. If the fashion world were like wrestling, Miu Miu would be one of the heavyweight champions. There are other designers who would rank, but I guarantee, Miu Miu would come out on top in a lot of designer duos. (Except maybe for Dolce and Gabbana. They just rock.) This is how amazing their designs are, and how prolific they are in the industry. When they come out with bags like their Pleated Leather satchel, it’s easy to see why lots of fashionistas drool over their creations. I really have no words for how amazing this bag is. It simply blows me away. The Pleated Leather satchel is made with black pleated leather in a unique shape and style. The bottom is rounded, while the top comes out in two points, giving the bag a rather cauldron-like shape. I adore the way the leather is pleated over the exterior, except for one strip at the top, which has a zip pocket and silver-toned hardware to hold the dual top handles. The bag even comes with a detachable cross-body strap so that you can carry it any way you like. Inside, it has a soft cloth lining and interior zip pockets. If you have the same problem I do, in that your Italian leather expensive purse gets scratched on the bottom whenever you set it down, you’ll appreciate Miu Miu’s inclusion of metal feet on this bag to protect the base.
