Dolce & Gabbana Crinkled Patent Bowling Bag

What do you get when you mix Dolce & Gabbana with “The Big Lebowski”? This fierce and fashion-forward Crinkled Patent Bowling Bag. I love this purse’s hip appeal and the unique and edgy texture created by the crinkled patent. The bad-ass rocker vibe is reinforced by the thick silver chain link shoulder strap and the sturdy squared-off handles that remind me of a gangster carrying a briefcase full of money. On top of the style factor, the purse is also roomy and as practical as a pricey Dolce & Gabbana handbag can be. Score! $1,090 at eLuxury.com

Put a drawstring on anything and it instantly becomes casual. Such is the case with this stitched up Dior bag. Soft brown leather is patterned with tonal stitching and pulled together with a slim drawstring strap threaded through antiqued brass rings. The large “D” charm hanging from one of three key fobs leaves no doubt whose bag you are carrying. The flap closes with a snap and the interior is finished with Dior logo lining, zip, cell and open pockets. The bag measures 8″H x 19″W x 6″D and sells for $1790.

Alexander McQueen Elvie Puff, Handbag of the Day

Pleats make it puff and patent leather makes this shiny bag a winner. With all the interest on the bag itself, the solid silver turnlock fastener sill manages to catch my eye. There is nothing dainty about it and I love the way it contrasts with the glossy jet black of the bag. Matte leather rolled handles are attached with gleaming silver rings and the bag is fully lined with one inside pocket. £830.00.

I can see myself carrying this go-with-anything black and white leather tote on a regular basis. At 18″ x 16.5″ x 1″, it’s large enough to hold everything I need and has plenty of room for additional shopping finds. It has wide, comfortable straps and the interior cell and zip pockets will prevent the awkward ‘tote-dig’. A little antiqued brass studded detail and a logo luggage tag finish off the look of this simple and practical bag. $1,600.

This crisp white clutch looks very buttoned up and business-like. Made from soft kidskin leather and sporting three different pocket styles, the stark hue is dressed up with gold-tone zippers and a shiny frame. The hinged opening secures with a push-lock closure and the interior is lined in more white leather and a single slide pocket. It is also available in a warm golden brown and sells for $830.
